Last night I went out with a group of mates. 1 of the guys I hadn't met before & I got on really well. About 1/2 throught the night he asked me if I was single, saying he was really interested - but wouldn't ask me out if I was already taken. I said I wasn't & we decided to go to a different pub alone later. I really thought it was going well. However, when he went to the bar I was talking to one of his friends to see if he was a nice guy, not messing me around, etc... she said he's a great guy, then when jokingly I mentioned something about him being single she reply with 'oh he's not - he & his girlfriend are very serious & he's very much taken'. When he asked for my number (after trying a few things that definately shouldn't) I confronted him. All he said was he didn't care about her & really liked me. Obviously I didn't take things further. Why did his friends stand & watch him doing that to his gf? Why did it matter so much if In was single? & Why did he have to be so nice?

i am a waitress at a restaurant where a variety of different races eat. I give everyone equaly great service. In my 3 year experience im wondering why minorities dont tip? Including deaf people. I know theres a stereotype and its only enforcing it when most of them prove it right.

There have been many instances of near death experiences felt by many people. Most of the time they have seen a lighted tunnel and a religious figure. A christian sees either Christ or Virgin Mary, a Hindu sees a Hindu God or Goddess, a muslim does not see a figure because Allah's face is not defined, and so on. This is because since their childhood they visit their places of worship and the mind is conditioned accordingly and sees the figure they have been seeing. This is the reason a Christian will not see a Hindu God or a Hindu will not see Christ in their experience.

I parked my car, and over the last day and a half there was a freezing rain storm, which left about two inches of ice in my area. Whats worse is my car tires seem to have frozen with it, because now where it was in the ice it is frozen, and air has deflated out of it. I need to drive home from college, should i try to thaw it out, inflate it frozen, or did i ruin the tire. Please help.
