We will be in the early ages of the next dark age. Our grandchildren will be more human than we are, as they are the 95% of the population that will be in total poverty while the top 5% lives in unprecedented wealth. The working poor will be stripped of the luxuries we use today and will be more able to cope with real human issues. All will be in the same boat, so there will be less classism within the masses. Illiteracy may go to the point of exceeding 50%, and extreme religion will become more popular. No NHS will mean that old diseases will have made their way back into the population, and the average lifespan will decline.

the 5% wealth will have destroyed all the sovereign nations, and they'll only have each other to fight with for the top dog position. This will leave many of the 95% alone to resume a life resembling autonomy of the late 19th century, farming communities will begin to re-amerge, as will textiles, borrowing from the existing technology and incorporating the old world skills with new world skills. If they are smart, banking industries will be either outlawed or minimised in most communities. Hollywood will be reduced to a small industry that panders to only the 5%, and the rest of the population will be more interested in real life issues than entertainment.

It will be a life of hard work and sickness, but the work will likely be more relevent than today. There will probably be many state farms housing workers on their land, people called workers, but are in fact "serfs". There will be no unions, no safety regulations, and no healthcare for workers who fall sick. Many will be killed off if they are too sick to work. The large cities will be like big prisons, where people are cast out into the ruined sectors if they cannot fit into the demanding routines.

I think it will be the most exciting race against time that the universe has experienced.

Humanity has got a very limited time to switch on to ecology and reverence for nature. Otherwise nature's first attempt to understand itself (us) will come to an abrupt end.

It's a no-brainer really, it's switching from paternal competition to maternal caring (apologies to caring fathers but you know what I mean). Intelligent life from another planet would not take any bets, but it's going to be very very close.

And the stakes are as high as they can be.

America will no longer be the super power, China will be most powerful but won't be the dominating Big Brother like America. India's bubble will burst.

I hate to say it but their probably wouldn't be much left of life we humans just go on oblivous to the obvious disasters of an impending doom that is surrounding us, World War 3 is soon, Global Warming, and all other kinds of Human related disasters that we are creating without a care for it. we are silently committing suicide and we know it but we are just oblivious to it. it's obvious isn't it?
