Britan?? please. Anybody who knows anything about boxing knows this, European boxing is worthless. What, Lenn. Lewis?
Come on! Everyone know the heavyweight division IS DEAD. And it was dead long before Lewis came to be champ. Besiedes. Lewis NEVER EVER wanted to fight MIke Tyson when he was the man. Compairing european boxing to our boxing is like compairing the U.S. professional soccer league with the Seria A, La Liga, or the Premiership league.

So now, seriously, I would say U.S. , Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Cuba produce the best boxers in the world.

By the way, Manny Paquiao is from the philippines, not mexican. Dude

Mexico produces as well a fighter-warrior-boxers.
Juan Manuel Marquez, Rafael Marquez, Julio Casaer Chavez Sr and Jr., Erik Morales, Marco A. Barrerz, Oscar de la hoya,
Antonio Margarito, Jose Luis Castillo and i'm just naming a few world champions. The list goes on.

Other great boxiers come from all over,
Cuba, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Phillipines, Europe, Australia, Japan has some good *** fighters but no one will give them a chance cuz they will take a few of the lightweight titles hands down.

Great boxers come from all around the world, and most of them adapt and become citizens of America to further there boxing dream.

The USA, pushes out good guys from 130+. Mexico brings out guys from 145- down. Cuba and Puerto Rico are basiclly the same. and UK does the same as the US with everybody 130+.The Former USSR pumps out Crusierweight and Heavyweights like nuts(except for Vic Darciyin who is an oddity.

Cuba, Puerto Rico, US, Mexico, UK then Philipines in that order. For a time this summer all the heavy weight champs were from former USSR, but that is the weak heavyweight division.

Britain, look at Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe and the string of champions in the 90's: Lennox Lewis, Chris Eubank, Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn and Prince Naseem Hamid.

speaking of amateur boxing..its CUBA..but when it comes to professional boxing..in the HEAVYWEIGHTS down to the middleweights..it will be USA..but the rest of the weight classes would go to MEXICO, they have made a lot superstars and legends.UK may be considered because of Lenox Lewis who claimed supremacy upon his American counterparts who were also superstars.about the guy who said PHILIPPINES is not even close to MEXICO, its true, I do agree even though I'm a Filipino, but the sure thing about it is that PHILIPPINES is the next producer of quality pound-for-pound boxers from the lightweight divisions, just wait for them to get into the mainstream.

P.S. Fernando Montiel and Z Gorres will meet up here in the Philippines. AFTER Gorres scores the knockout, you guys will believe me.
