Popular question:
They feel he rushed into his marriage, that she is a substitute for his father and that when he comes to terms with his father's death he will come to realize that this is like when he had sex with Meredith and she freaked out. She had sex with him because it was convenient and she thought it was good old George. Then she realized she was taking advantage of good ol' George andruining their friendship. He is doing the same thing with Callie only in stead of sex he is marrying her when he couldn't trust her a week or so ago and he couldn'y stand to live with her a month or so ago. One day he will realize that he is using her and it will crush her when she figures out the same.
Of course the only person complaining is Izzie and that is because she is George's closest friend and they talked before he asked Callie to marry him and Izzie told him the sex thing was wrong. He was just using it to avoid coming to terms with his father's death. He told her the sex made him feel good and he wanted to feel good. He did not want to crawl up in a ball on the
floor like her and shut everybody out. She told him to think about Callie and what she wants, and the next thing you know George proposed. What is was saying was give her some space. Instead he rushed her into a wedding.
As for why she is saying this. She owed George a good thumping for what he said about her and Denny to George's father, namely that she killed Denny and was put on probation for it. Turn about is fair play.
I agree that Izzie and George should be together. I have been saying that for weeks now. The trick is to get them together out of desire and not just convenience like most of the relationships on this show. I am just not certain who should propose this connection him or her. Don't be surpised if they jump the gun and have an affair here and now. It makes sense if you think about it. What better way to brak up a marriage than with an affair. Personally I think Izzie could take Callie in a fight. We'll see.

Man I guess I'm the only one who likes Callie. I think they are cute. I dont like how Izzie is being. But I get how she is very protective of George. I don't know why the girls dont like Callie other than they might think she's taking George away from them. I know from past experience it's hard to except new girls in my guy friends life and vice versa.

Because they ran off and got married in a Vegas wedding without really thinking it through.
I think Izzie is so protective of George and against him marrying Callie because it was in the wake of his father dieing. And George was being pretty impulsive due to his dad's death.
I also think they're not crazy about Callie because initially Callie wasn't exactly crazy about them. She asked George to chose between his friends (ex: Meredith and Izzie) and her.

Perhaps because they know that he is on the rebound from Meredith and also physically they just don't look good together. It's hard to believe that they have good chemistry.
