For some obscure reason I cannot SMS people in France when I carry an Israeli cell phone. I can do it to many other countries (India, USA, UK, Senegal, etc.) but not to France.

The interesting thing is that I can receive SMS from France to my Israeli cell phone but not the other way around.

Anybody has an explanation for that?

A couple more things I'd like to add

Even if it is the same operator say "orange" I am still unable to send an SMS to France.

Also, even if I am in France using a French operator (roaming) my SMS gets blocked.

hi, i don't think of that is easily plausible to rework one type of software to a unique. I also do not imagine you'd be in a position to get a Java app that would block calls and SMS from any particular decision you feed the software. you'd be more beneficial advantageous off searching for a more beneficial community app (like a .sis) which will attempt this. To frequently end calls from people no longer in my contacts, I copied all my contacts to a defined crew and in my profiles, set the phone to ring only for that crew. Unknown contacts can nonetheless call, besides the undeniable fact that the decision is silent so it would not difficulty me. I nonetheless get SMS from whoever besides the undeniable fact that. solid success including your search for :)
