one of mine friend who had once married and she want to find a person whose age same with her. Because all the guys who interested in her, their age are much young than her. I really like this guy- we're like really close friends. He's always giving me hugs and stuff (though he does that with most of his -girl- friends) and we're always flirting with eachother. We say we love eachother but he says he only means it in a friendly way.

Thing is, yesterday I told one of my close friends i like him and she immediatly said 'I KNEW IT! You two flirt so much at school it's unbelievable!'. I discovered that not only do most of my friends think I like him, they think he likes me too.

My friend says she was in a similar situation with him when she liked him a while ago, and he dumped his girlfriend for her. But she didn't date him in the end because she didn't want to ruin their friendship.

I just don't know what to do any more :/ all my friends say I should tell him, but I'm scared of getting my heart broken & ruining a great friendship :(

Please help.

I heard oil companies paid off an inventor that could have marketed a special carburetor that recycled the gas though it till it was all used, instead off letting fumes escape, netting a huge increase in miles per gallon.

Are we being duped? Are gas prices too high? Do you think the love of money is preventing people companies from helping make the world a better place?

Will practices of greed like this destroy our world?

If we got rid of money, would the world be a better place?

hi i am 16 years old and i have had depression for about a year now it all started when i moved in with my dad cuz of some family problems not knowing anybody here and no one around here my age i sit in my room everyday now and no more friends, also can not enough sunlight cause depression? and cant do anything i like to anymore basically my social life has been destroyed can anyone help i feel so lost :(

I found out on valentines day my wife is expecting our first child .....I am so damn happy that even though we are not telling anyone yet as its only 3 weeks in I am walking around with a perma-smile on my face, and the missus reckons someone is going to suss me out !

A) If a hot water bottle contains 1.00kg of water and when in the bed has a temperature of 90 degrees celsious, how much internal energy will it lose as it cools to 25 degrees celsious??

Whilst walking on the beach yesterday- my daughter decided that the dog, my son and I should be put in 'daft group'. She and my husband, she decided, would be in 'clever group'. We were having a laugh about this when she slipped and I managed to catch her before she hit a rock. I was immediately promoted to 'kind, sensible mum' group.
Elated, I then threw a stick for the dog to fetch and it nearly hit a lady on the head. I had immediate demotion to 'daft group'- where I now languish.
What can it all mean? Will I ever get promotion back up to 'kind,responsible mum' group?
