recently my body's been going through a lot, and I think I'm just shutting down, but for some reason my gums will randomly start to bleed, and I don't know why... anyone have any good suggestions?! Come on dentists! I know you're out there!

What's your diet like? Bleeding gums can indicate some vitamin deficiencies, most notably Vitamin C. If you smoke, you cause more depletion of vit. c from your body, too.

Wouldn't hurt to see a dentist, but you might try eating more fresh fruits and vegs, or taking a vitamind C supplement (they are very cheap).

Oh dear sounds like a trip to the dentist is necessary! Good luck with that! Maybe try changing your toothbrush to a softer one for people with sensitive teeth & gums.

You should really go get checked by a doctor. That is one of the
signs of possible liver disease. Actually Hepatitis C...... there are not many signs, but bleeding gums is an absolute.

If you are stressed, it has been shown that stress can reduce brushing and teh manner in which you tend to brush. Your body focuses on more pressing matters, hence you rush through brushing. The best is to see a dentist and get it checked out so that you can rule out any periodontal disease.

Could be something as simple gingivitis or some other dental disease. SEE a dentist. He will tell you if it's dental related or something you need to see your physician about.
