A gentle leader is the same as a halti, i think and he hates this, i tried putting on at quiet times at home for a couple of weeks before he went out on it, as suggested by a friend. I have tried to go out on numerous occasions but he just tries to get it off the whole time, even with treats?? I work on the canal and want to walk him there at lunch times. You cant cross the road when another dog comes unfortunately and there is nowhere to go out of the way, i do believe that it is not unreasonable for me to do something as millions of other people walk there every day and i would like to be able to enjoy it with my dog. Will sit when another dog comes but pulls again when they get there. Some dogs do not want to say hello??

i have an teacher at my university who is a graduate student teaching in the english dept. this person has stated that we should call her "professor ----, or ms. ------ just not [by her first name]". i have noticed other students have titled her as professor on their papers, and today while using an example she said "..just because i am professor and you are students....." [just making an example for a discussion in class]. i do not think she should be passing herself off as a professor, just looking for other opinions, and wondering if i should say something?

he says that he doesnt make enough money, but neither do i. we live paycheck to paycheck. he only pays for his cellphone, car note, insurance and 2 small credit cards. i pay everything for the house including my small bills. how can i get him to help?

Accept a promotion at your current workplace (the one you've been waiting for for 1yr, after you've been working under the promoted tasks and not getting paid for it)? OR accept a position at a prestigious finiancial firm 45 minutes further away from your home (newly married, young child)?

I'm really stuck- the new position would be great because working for this company is like attending an ivy league school. It'll look FANTASTIC on a resume in the future, and give me all the work experience I need now for professional growth in today's corporate environment.. If I stay where I am, I have a 15 minute commute to/from work, in a stable work environment that promotes growth but doesn't follow through with it.

I am creating a space script that eventually will be turned into a movie. It will have the undertone of Event Horizon and a lot of the adventure of Aliens and Halo. The main character will be a Black weel built man of Military standing. His choice of weapon is a pulse cannon. We are used to black men within the military in movies with cigars, thick accents and a gruff mannerism. Those cliches will not be present in my character. However I need character development do you like the initial outlines of my character and what else do you think I need to add? For example in Aliens Ripley is women against female Alien. Battle of two bitches. What undertones can I have for my character named BC

One day I met a sweet gentleman and fell in love.

When it became apparent that we would marry, I made the supreme sacrifice and gave up beans.

Some months later, on my birthday, my car broke down on the way home from work.
Since I lived in the countryside I called my husband and tol d him that I would be late because I had to walk home.

On my way, I passed by a small diner and the odor of baked beans was more than I could stand.

With miles to walk, I figured that I would walk off any ill effects by the time I reached home, so I stopped at the diner and before I knew it, I had consumed three large orders of baked beans.

All the way home, I made sure that I released all the gas.

Upon my arrival, my husband seemed excited to see me and exclaimed delightedly: "Darling I have a surprise for dinner tonight."

He then blindfolded me and led me to my chair at the dinner table.

I took a seat and just as he was about to remove my blindfold, the telephone rang.
