They are all great, and they are all different. You cannot say that any of them is any better than the others. You might as well put Dustin Hoffman in that list, too.

that's almost impossible to answer. Personally, I don't like Pachino, I love Robert Dinero and think he's amazing and super talented but I think best actor has to go to Jack Nicholson.

I think it depends on what type of movie they are doing...they are all 3 great actors! I would say Jack Nicholson for more of a comedy type movie...Al Pachino for a mobster movie...he fits it to a T...and Robert D'Nero would be good in a mixture of comedy and mobster.

De Niro is the same in everything. He's a good actor, but he can only play one character.
Same can be said for jack, but he is so awesome as that bad *** character that it doesn't really matter.
I would say Pacino is the best of the three. He has studied acting and can range from a Cuban drug lord to Richard III.

All three are great and I love their movies but to tell the truth I think all three are overrated as actors. Let's face it all three play pretty much the same guy in every movie. If I had to pick I'd go with Pachino.

Not sure that anyone can say that any of these actors is better. For certain roles, Nicholson would be better than the other 2 but the other 2 would be better than Nicholson for other roles. I think it depends on the movie and what is required of the actor. Each has obviously completed outstanding work that would be difficult for anyone else to re-create.

If you ever saw Al Pacino in "Dog Day Afternoon " you would see his absolute brilliance in acting. I did'nt really like him before I saw him do this really impressive performance. Old movie but I highly recommend it. I"m noy crazy about Jack, and robert de niro 's understanded intensity doesn't do it for me. Al is the sexiest ( or was when he was younger) of the three as well.Ok and I'm biased too : we share the same birthday
