I've been thinking about getting Lumineers for a little while now. I have extremely sensitive teeth and very little enamel left on my teeth. I read the info on Lumineers and realize they are placed differently than traditional veneers and I think they may be just the right thing for me.

Know anybody who has them? Are they worth the money, and was it really only two visits? Are they what they're cracked up to be???

I want to take up amateur photography seriously. I live in NYC and i find inspiration around me everyday! But I have an otherwise full time job that will not allow me to take proper courses at least for the next few years...and i cant wait that long! What camera should a beginner like me invest in (the cheaper the better, nothing too fancy), and what software is a good and easy one to work with? Also are there any online tutorials on using light, photography techniques etc, that might be useful? any tips would be appreciated!! Thanks!

I've know this guy for a while, and I wasn't interested in him until recently. However I'm sure he's noticed as I have started blushing when I talk to him and it takes me ages now to call him as I need "to prepare myself". He's a sweet guy but he's really shy and I don't think he's had a girlfriend before and I'm not sure whether I would embaress him if I asked him out but I doubt he'll ask me out otherwise...

Ahhh nothing like those fun and dangerous toys of yesteryear! For example: a set of REAL lawn darts! If you're thirty something or older, you might know them as "Jarts." Remember when Tonka toys were made of REAL METAL? You can still find this stuff at online auctions. Name some fun toys from your childhood that banned today because of "safety issues."

I say, stop buying $ sun glasses and try to make popularity by acting like you care posting questions or adopting babies. Instead of adopting a baby on whom u r gonna spend stupid millions on designer baby clothes, donate all tha tmoney to the poor tribe where the baby came from. Having 50 million instead of 55 million won't affect your life AT ALL!!! Stop being so damn hypocrite and let us do our questions without your "how do I stop world hunger??" crap...

All the time I see children back talking parents, cussing at them, stealing, sneaking out, and other outrageous things. How can parents prevent that, and what are they doing wrong?

i solely go on UK answers.

weird maybe, because i am in the states.
(but i'm not one of those americans that answers questions that relate to UK law or places to hang out or buy things)

but since i will be moving to the UK in a few years, UK answers is as close as i can get for now.

...please forgive my babbling...i just got off work and should really be sleeping now.

ANYWAY...i was on UK answers, as i always am, and i answered one question somewhere and got on a bit of a roll and suddenly realized i ended up on US answers. now...i love the US, but it just didn't feel right being there. i didn't recognize anyone...the questions weren't the same types of questions...it just didn't feel "comfy", and i checked the site, and i saw i wasn't in the UK anymore.

so i went back to UK answers, and saw some familiar avvys, and saw the types of questions i am so accustomed to seeing, and i was instantly at ease.

have you ever done this???
