The name is Fanconi anemia,its hereditary,and can worsen and cause a condition called "Aplastic Anemia" and eventually to a leukemia type condition called "Bone Marrow Failure" The treatments would include bone marrow transplant.Stem cell ,and cord blood research is showing great promise. Fanconi anemia is a genetic, autosomal-recessive disorder characterized by defective production of blood cells (thus, the anemia). Many patients will eventually develop acute myelogenous leukemia (AML), or other myeloid disorders because of the abnormal blood progenitors.

i think it's a rare blood disorder that causes cancer
