I was wondering if chemists can make polypeptides in a laboratory. Is it possible to make a polypeptide?

the royals are all too accustomed to their quality of life - but how do you think they would cope if any such royal were to become a drop-out and walk the streets? Do you think they would have problems in obtaining work and shelter, finding a partner etc? How do you think the 'ordinary working person' would react if they met such a person?

My son is nine months old and ready for finger foods. What can I give him? (Ideas I already have : sliced banana, cereal, toast, crackers, cookies) Many people have already suggested chopped up fruits. What kind of fruits are good for a child his age? Also, what about vegetables, are they good for finger foods? If so, what kind of vegetables are good for a child his age?

(Note: I currently cannot ask my ped. Well, I could, but she is three hours away and probably wouldn't suggest anything over the phone. We just moved and are having diffulites with changing his dr. because of medicaid.)

Is there any physical evidence to suggest that empty space did not surround the dense matter that preceded the Big Bang? Why not use the basic model of a giant explosion into empty (or not empty) space. This model does not preclude a universal expansion of all particles (holons?). Isn't this a more elegant description than complex formulae of expanding 'spacetime'?
Why not simply say that the distance is growing between particles (objects, holons)? Thus, space itself has no properties. It is nothing. Only the particles within it have properties. Time is the motion of those particles since the Bang.

Please, no academic lectures on current theories or fundamentals of spacetime. (No strings or m-branes) Confine yourself to this theory and whether it is supportable by observation and calculation.

Why does yahoo make all the men's avatars have such little necks? They make the female avatars complimentive and the males they give them skinny necks. They all look like 12 year old boys, only some have little goatees and such. I know I'm sorry silly question for a spiritual forum, but this is usually where I hang out in yahoo answers. My husband and I recently moved to Germany and have both noticed that when we drink beer we get very irritable. We notice the effect after only 1/2 a beer. Wine has no effect on either of us. We are happy enjoying the great French and Italians wines but it seems kinda silly to be here in Germany and unable to enjoy the beer.

I suffer from a medical condition (my entire life) that causes my body not to be able to produce NEAR enough enamal for my teeth. I am also unabel to take novicaine, as I am severely allergic. I HAVE to be put under all the time. The result is tooth breakage and spending over $32,000 dollars over my 35 years to have my teeth fixed. I cannot afford any more "band-aid" fixes. I want to get all my teeth pulled and get false ones. I have spoken to dentists about this, but they all say that it cannot be done--legal reasons. Now why is it that if I wanted to have a sex change, I could do that, but my teeth pulled? No way!! I think dentistry is a racket. All about money. Does anyone know how I go about finding a dentist who will do this?
