People who need money. Why would a lawyer give an advance to an unsure thing.

did you win ?? if so there should be a clause in the settlement telling you how much time the loser got to pay up or there will be additional settlement moneys due. as for any advancement I don't think there is any place. because nothing is guaranteed.
