Only that it has been ruled by the Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans in succession before gaining its Independence. The Country had a King with an an American wife before he was overthrown by the Italians when the country was Invaded in 1938. It became a launching point for the Italian Invasion of Greece in WWII. The country eventually threw off Italian rule only to become Communist. Government changed around the time of the USSR's demise.
