I took peoplepc off of my computer and now my Internet Explorer will not work. When I try to pull up the internet it says to check the path to Peoplepc and will not pull up my internet page.

I do not need Peoplepc now b/c I have a local DSL service. But some component for my Internet Explorer must have been removed when I uninstalled it.

If this is your Internet provider, you will have to choose another one first, in order to have a connection.

Don't know if this will work, but it's what I've been told to do in the past. If you still have the original CD that came with your computer, enter and download it again. Or....

I would say do a system restore back to the point before you downloaded the People PC, but don't know how long ago that was. It says you won't lose anything when you do this.

If you want to try it: Click on Start-> All Programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> System Restore. Then pick the date before you downloaded People PC.

People PC was your Internet Provider. You can not connect to the Internet without one. You will have to re-install People PC or some other provider.
