I can not watch movies with sub titles. Do they play the Enlish words at the bottom or do they speak English. Does anyone know if it is a good movie?

It is a Mexican film that is Spanish with English subtitles. Reading doesn't detract from the film at all unless you're dyslexic or quite young. It actually enhances the film to retain it in the language it was shot in so we can hear the characters' emotions being properly depicted as dubbing a film can ruin its essence.

It's the best movie I've ever seen in my life. Yes, it's in Spanish with English subtitles. To be honest, if this movie was in English, it wouldn't be as good. I can't explain why, but it's true. After thirty minutes, I didn't even realize I was reading subtitles I was so into the movie. If the only reason you don't want to watch this movie is because it's in Spanish, go watch it anyway. Don't miss it just because of that, because it's marvelous. I'm going to watch it again, in fact. My mom was like you, she didn't think she could stand a movie that had subtitles, but I talked her into seeing it, and she loved it. It's one of her favorite movies now, if not her favorite. So yeah, go see it. It will effect you like no other movie ever has.

It's in spanish with subtitles apparently its a good movie it got a 30 minute standing ovation at the cannes film festival.I want to see it any way Del toro makes badass movies
