Athlon AMD 1.5 had message saying Display driver for NVIDIA Ge Force2 MX/MX 400 seems to be responsible for the system instability how do I fix this please

not 100% for sure.. But you might need to do a complete wipe. reinstall your copy of Windows XP. And antivirus/firewall software only. After which you should be able to install the SP2. And it wouldn't hurt to check Nvidia for updated video drivers as well.

I suggest your driver is out of date. If you click on this link to NVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/page/home.html then click on the Download Drivers button. Then click on Graphics Driver in the first box. GeForce in the second box. Your operating system in the third box. You will then find the latest driver.

However, if this doesn't work for you do try their Support as they have helped me many times and are very good at sorting out problems.

Did you crack your windows install to avoid "Activation": or hack WGA authentication?

If so, you're largely SOL for a reliable way to get SP2 installed. You'll need to reinstall the OS, preferably from an install CD that already has SP2.

Clean up your computer a bit; do a registry fix, clean out the cookies and temp files, get rid of old software that isn't used and then defrag it. that should help

Check with Microsoft or NVIDIA for some known problem.

go to scan disc then after that defrag the pc try again
