I find it very hard!
I have been single for 4 years; I have two kids and still have yet to find any one that I would love to be involved with. A lot of men I have met play the games that I don’t have the time for.
I don’t know, maybe they don’t feel ready to be committed to a woman that has children so they play the selfish games making her believe that there may be something there. I’m not saying that I’m a perfect person at all!
All I want is to meet a man that can respect a woman that has children works, and goes to school so she can be better for her family.
Am I asking for too much?

Some frens and I went to a hotel for high tea, and 5 of us who ate oysters got food poisoning! I complained to the hotel who said that they would look out for other such cases, but they reported that there were none. I don't think that the hotel would voluntarily tell me that other guests got food poisoning because it would be bad for their business. Now they are offering me complimentary high tea for 2 out of goodwill. I want to know which government body in Singapore I can write to to notify them of this case. This is a reputable hotel and I expect them to purchase their food from reputable sources. 5 out of 5 persons got food poisoning, what other evidence do they need? (We have medical certificates).

I am new to breadmaking and I made my first bread last week..an italian olive oil recipe. It came out great but could have been better.

I would like to know from you: which bread (italian or else) is best for dipping with Oilve oil. I think this is a great starter. Would anyone oblige me with names and recipes of such good breads?

Okay, I have NEVER had any acne at all....maybe one pimple every other month sometimes...but now I have 9 pimples right above the middle of my eyebrows on my forehead. This is also the first time I have had bangs and they strangely end where the pimples are. Could this problem be related to the bangs? Or am I just crazy. Anyway, I think it is destroying my appearance and I am really sad about it. Also, should I invest in Proactiv if I only have pimples right in the one spot but the rest of my skin is always clear?

I just can't stop loving food as much as I do. ( I LOVE FOOD )
In several occations I've given in an eaten things I should not have.
If you have gone trough something similar please let me know how little by little you were able to control that emotion when you just had to eat something that is really not good for you.

I want to write a letter 2 my best friend whos a guy. We have been close for years and we even hooked up a couple of times but we decided that it was best if we didnt date and just stayed friends and we were great and have been and we're both seeing other people. We are so close that he was the one by myside at my lil sister funeral last december.every time i would start to lose it he would take me in his arms & tell me that everything will work out for the best & ill be ok and that he would always be there but recently hes been distant.idk why. Now we only talk once or twice every 2 weeks & usually through text messaging. Ive asked hi if anything is wrong or why we dont talk nemore & he freaks out & days everything is fine.& when i ask why we arent close anymore he says he doesnt know what im talking about I want 2 write him a letter 2 let him know that im still here for him & maybe as a last attempt 2 try & fix things. but i dont know whats wrong so i dont know what to write to him.

My office mate chronically takes off work for some the stupidest things (once her 16 year old daughter called crying because she got into an argument with a classmate at school-and she left to go get her). Anyway I'm left at work doing my job and hers in a busy office. One day my boss called me into his office to say I'm taking the job too seriously and need to chill that we all have to out sometimes. More or less he gave me the go ahead to leave some too. Anyway, I've always prided myself for having good work attendance and I feel stupid saying I need off for trivial things. But I've got to fight fire with fire, so here goes. All I've come up with is I have to go let the exterminator in at home. I'm also very superstitious about saying it's sickness or car trouble or something major that could really happen if I say it. Can anyone help? I should add I've only been here a year. She's been here 10 years.

My understanding of welfare is payments to people with low incomes, or children they can't support. Some have said that by subsidizing this activity, we get more of it. Even FDR spoke of the "narcotic effect" of these types of payments. Some people know that the government will bail them out, and therefore will "slack off" on their own efforts.

Look at that last sentence again - does this apply to tax subsidies to corporations? Are these tax credits and other "breaks" tied to activities we want to encourage rather than discourage (like oil exploration and drilling, etc.), or are they not tied to anything?

Speaking more broadly, when (if ever) should the government use tax policy to encourage or discourage activity? If you tax it, you get less of it; if you subsidize it, you get more of it. The home mortgage interest deduction is probably the most commonly encountered "tax break" - although I'd hardly call it 'homeowner welfare."

What are your thoughts?

I don't have any bad feelings towards either team- and I like both of their coaches. But Dungy has worked so hard only to be fired with his previous team and the next year their new coach won the Super Bowl right away, and I'm like that wasn't fair- that Super Bowl belonged to Dungy. So I guess I'm rooting for the Colts but I'm happy if either team wins.
