August of '05, I was renting my very first U-Haul truck. I was not familiar with how to secure the back door, so it bounced up and down as I drove.

I was driving up the I-55 corridor in Mississippi north of Jackson and a pile of outhouse compost on wheels noticed the back door. We talked, I got nervous, we mistrusted each other, he detained me, threatened arrest, CB'd his nicer colleague, and they let me go after I loosened up. No ticket was issued, but my time was wasted.

They are the Mississippi State Patrol. Travel at your own risk.

I am TarKettle, and I hate law enforcement.

And, no you control freaks, I've never been arrested.

About 2 years ago going home for the weekend, Driving 65 in a 45 at about 11:30 p.m. Went the next day to the police chief and got the ticket dropped, while the cop that pulled me over was in the room. :)

1983. Left my driveway with a school bus parked to the the left of my property with its lights on. As usual I stopped at the driveway entrance to check for traffic and obviously kids. It was clear . I simply pulled out of the driveway and was immediately pulled over by Officer Burger of the Farmington City, Utah P.D. I was issued a citation and ordered to pay a cash payment. This is a matter of public record.

15 years ago for speeding. I was trying to get home fast to feed one of my kids. Everytime a PGE truck was around with it's lights on, my son would freak out-he thought they were coming for me again. (he was 3 at the time!!!)
