Last night, while sleeping, I woke up briefly for about a minute. I usually wake up anywhere from 5 to 6 times in the night, so nothing seemed out of place. Out of nowhere, though, my chest and legs involuntarily clench extremely tight, chest raised into the air, legs raised in the air, balancing on my buttocks. For about 6 seconds, it felt like every single muslce in my body was paralyzed, and all I could see was pure white. And just as soon as it came on, it went away. There were no lasting effects. There was also no sensation or indication that this was coming on. It was instant.

No history of seizures. No history of anything at all like this. What could this possibly have been, and should I worry about it happening again in the future? The only meds I'm on are 6-mercaptopurine and Asacol for my Crohn's disease, and various vitamins.

I like this girl, but i feel like she is using me. I don't know for certain. I could be just being paraniod. Anyway, I can I make sure she doesn't start using me? My best friend has a tough life and mine is really easy; I want to help her out but really can't do anything but listen, and I feel like this is driving us apart.

For example, she battles an eating disorder and self injury, issues of past abuse (in several manners), is worried about maintaining her employment status, isn't sure she can afford to go to college, can't afford the medicine that she needs to take, and has to help her family through financial troubles even though they waste a lot of their own money on themselves and she has hardly any.

In contrast, I've never been employed and I'm going to college through a combination of scholarship programmes and my parents' financial foresight (they were fortunate enough to set up a low-tuition programme for me). Plus I generally get along with my family, haven't ever been abused or suffered from an ED, and generally lead a great life.

What should I do?

On this board sevral tiems on the war debate. Ive heard people say that if we pull out of Iraq they are afraid of what will happen. I can tell you about almost any major religion on earth and some of the minor ones also. I choose my faith because I have studied and know it is the Truth.

How much do you know about other faiths? Other than what your preacher or Preist told you! Have you really studied your faith or just taken what your parents and religious leaders told you as fact? If your faith is the truth would it harm you to put it to the test and understand the faiths of others.

Why are people so afraid to understand the faiths of others. Is their faith so weak than they truely think they will be brainwashed by understanding?

I want to erase everything from my computer so it can be like when I first got it. I have this program that no matter what I do it doesn't want to erase. If I try to remove it my computer freezes. I have tried different ways of trying to erase it (ways that I found on the internet). It has got to the point that I just want to restart everything. If this might help I want to erase a program called bs player because when I download it another program came with it call When U Save. And When U Save is just a program that every minute pops ads of products that you can find in certain websites. I dont know what to do or if i should even get involved. my bf he does some drugs an gets high with his friends and im scared for his health.i dont do drugs. he told me that he tried to stop but he is idicted. he also refuses for me to be by him whne he is high b/c he doent want me to see him like that.

also i am scared for his grades b/c we just got done with finials and he said that he didnt even take a couple of them b/c they wouldnt help his grade, he can be productive when he wants to be and he treats me great and i just want him to get somewhere in life , i try telling him to go to school more he just doesnt listen , im not his mom so im not gonna sit around and lecture him. he has a job so he must be able to work hard, im not gonna go dump him either, cause as i see it is that if god can except him then who am i to complain???

Yes. That's right. Any time your adversaries ask a question that insults your side of the political fence, all you have to do is click on the "report abuse" flag and select the "Insulting other users" category. Im not into the fad of having a millin piercings i just think it would look really pretty on me. My mom says i dont wear the earings that i have enough so i have been wearing them everyday for a year straight but she still wont change her mind.
