I really think Yahoo answers should take a closer look at the reported questions, if that is the case. I counted 33 questions that were recently removed, just from the ones I answered myself, and while I could see why some of them might offend, many of them seemed rather benign, as far as I could tell. Some that were far worse even stayed in. I never report any one's question, because even if something offends me, I have to respect their right to say it!!! I am afraid to repeat the question of mine that was removed, because I am afraid that this answer will be removed too! But, I asked an honest question, and I didn't call anyone any names, or say anything derogatory towards any group!!! I also didn't use any curse words!!! Nor did I threaten anyone!!!

In a free society controversy is welcomed for the opportunity to debate and exercise our right to express ourselves in a mature nonoffensive manner. I can post that I love Bush-does anyone else?,do not but using as a example for I'm sure would bring a lot of challenging responses. Were I then to be of small mind I could do as you've suggested BUT am very sure that the Yahoo staff would not remove my plotical themed question for there is no insult to be found in my question. It all depends on the word usage .I have been removed and after rereading what I'd posted could see why so now choose my words more wisely.

I've had this happen any number of times.
What you do is respond to the notice with a valid defense and make them look into it.
I have a 100% success rate in getting my posts back up.

Yes, all too well. They have removed some of my Q&A's for
"chatting" & "not a question or an answer".
Sometimes you feel like you're walking on egg shells
just answering a question around here.
I think someone - isisisithe1 - is giving all these thumbs down.
Ridiculous.
Just check out who starred the question.

Absolutely, I had my account canceled for the same reason. After that occurred I opened two new accounts. I was deliberately profane in one and continued to ask and answer direct political questions. The account I was being direct with was canceled within the day. Everyone knows this happens; it only calls the Answer people's credibility into account, not yours.

I think Ms Kravitz from "Bewitched" must have invented Yahoo Answers. Either her, or the churchlady.
