......of dried peas?

I've been to every supermarket and shop in my area, and you can't seem to get them any more. There's split green or yellow peas, or the little packs of quick soak dried peas for making mushy peas, but no packets of ordinary dried peas. How am I supposed to make proper pea and ham soup? Split peas just don't cut the mustard for me.

Any ideas as to where to find them, please?

High fructose corn syrup is made from genetically modified corn treated with genetically modified enzymes. It prevents the body from making insulin and so it won't break the sugars in your blood and have your body change it into stored fat. isn't that what we try to prevent by using those produts.
HFCS goes straight to your liver and doesn't do anything good for your body.
I was struck when I found this ingredient on my Special K box, to get me into a healthier breakfast and do the eat 2 loose 6 thing, well, no wonder it ain't working.

I personally believe that gay people are enduring one of the most severe forms of oppression by being denied the right to marry. It wasn't long ago that women were being denied the right to vote and black people were denied all basic human rights, but we have come a long way. In the present time of 2007, gay people are still being discriminated against and I am outraged. REGARDLESS OF YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS, WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO DENY SOMEONE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MARRY? I am not gay, but feel a need to express my concern over this devastating issue in our country. It is a Human Rights issue and it is Real. We need a solution NOW.

I am about 80% sure I'm pregnant, but it's too soon to take a test (my period is still over a week away). I am due for a pap smear appointment tomorrow, but now I don't know if I should go at this stage. Should I wait until I can get a reliable test result? I had thought an OBGYN could sort of talk me through this and offer some counseling and wisdom, but now I'm afraid they'll insist on a pap regardless. I have abnormal cervical cells that have required a pap every 3 mos. for the past year+, so if I'm not pregnant, something else is wrong down there, and I feel I should see a doctor. But I'm scared! Can anyone offer any thoughts, such as at what point during a pregnancy a pap is safe/recommended?

Many people including myself and one of my sons are allurgic to Aspartame. It causes migraine attacks. In some people it causes seizures.

My son and I recently took some kids vitamins together not knowing it contained Aspartame. Sure enough, we got our migraine attacks from it. There was NO warning label!

I think there should be a law requiring a warning label for Aspartame. Why isn't there?

I also have a meeting to go to that night. He hinted toward asking it off and then I told him I had a meeting to go to and he was really disappointed. I wish I could get out of the meeting but it's mandatory. I want to do something really special since it's our first one together. I don't care if we go out or if we buy presents, I want to DO something for him. But we won't be together until 9 or 10pm. Any suggestions on what I might do. Should I have him ask it off? for a ticket I received and didn't pay from more than ten years ago!
I never got any ticket at all; the ticket was for "violation of title" where supposedly my license plate was not the right one for the car that was being driven -
This was before they made it mandatory to turn in your license plates on a dead car - instead of keeping them in a box somewhere in your garage! Obviously, someone stole my old license plate, put it on a car, and then was stopped by the police - all of this, unknown to me, until I received this legal notice today.
I quess the driver, whoever they are, let the cop just think it was me. What should I do?? Is there a statute of limitations for that stuff in PA?? Why would they wait for ten years before threatening me to take my drivers license unless I pay them $350.00??? If they did this 10 yrs ago, the cop would know it wasn't me he stopped. now what do i do?????

I went to a dealership and they told me that I'd have to buy the whole piece to get the rubber part which is about $50.

Meanwhile, the person who installed my remote starter said a dealership could do it.

It's a'97 Cavalier.

I tried on-line, but no one seemed to understand what I was asking for.

I've had the car for 7 years, and my long nails have worn out the pads so that it barely works to unlock or lock the car. I just put a new battery in it, so I know it works. The trunk pops open just fine; the lock buttons are really worn out.
