No. He didn't advocate supremecy. He advocated equality.
We can all get behind that.

the answers I have read here is just plain sickening, it is so sad to think that the Jewish owned communist news media has got so many people brain washed, M,.L,K, was a dyed in the wool communist from the word go, and the F.B.I. had all of the evidence of him and many more attending communist training centers ni Russia, and China, and some of these reports were made public, however the communist news media didn't exploit this, as they would, had it been a white organization, did you know the Jews started the N.A.A.C,P, IN THE 1880S and have been the head of it since its inception, I just wonder how much money they made on this little caper? Yes M,L,K, did preach and pretend he wanted non violence, but behind closed doors things were different, many crime has been committed by the non violent N,A,A,C,P, but with the help of the masters of deception they could not be directly blamed and covered by our Jewish owned news media, for example the F,B,I, found over 40 stolen cars belonging to the N.A.A.C.P, in the 60s that they had bought from a dealer who had went out of business and skipped out???? I think that was pretty slick no one was prosecuted,
how ever I bet you nor I could get away with that. many other crimes ,murders etc were committed that led back to King but, with Jewish help he was never indicted ,

Many posters listed here are proclaiming that Martin Luther King needed everybody to have equivalent rights. ok, i'm fantastic with that, so why do blacks cry the loudest while Affimative action and racial quotas are taken away? seems they stay by using a double-generic inconsistent with King's teachings. asserting that's a software to make up for the sins of slavery is a canines that may not hunt. each race and u . s . of individuals have suffered decrease than slavery at sometime in background.

Answer: no
Reasons:
fact 1
definitions of supremacist:
"su·prem·a·cist ... –noun a person who believes in or advocates the supremacy of a particular group, esp. a racial group: a white supremacist."
"n. One who believes that a certain group is or should be supreme."
fact 2:
this is what he said:
***"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. "
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."
"In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence."
"I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood."
From these facts I draw my conclusion. On what facts could you (or anyone) conclude that he is a supremacist? (Please reference your facts, and then build your argument.)

No, he was not a black supremest or even a black chauvinist. He was fighting for the equality of a sizable majority in our country.
Hon. Rev. Louis Farrakhan is an example of a Black Supremest. Anyone that says "Black and Proud" is a black chauvinist.
I think it is dumb to be proud of something as immutable as race because I did not do anything to be my race. I was kind of born that way...

No. He never preached that blacks should control whites. He simply preached that everyone should be considered equal. That would not be a supremacists view coming from anyone.

the simplest reason for this is that MLK was not violent and didn't endorse violence as a tactic.
everything that was accomplished by king was done so with 100% non-violent protest - of which financial protest was a large part.
king never stated that anyone was superior to anyone else by the way.
your question makes me wonder what it was you were watching yesterday...

Of course. He pushed for the hiring of Blacks (Oh, African Americans) over whites. Wanted mixing (Balkanism) of the races.
