on the back of the tower you'll see all the cables and plugs... look for the cable coming from your monitor. the card it goes into should have an s-video jack that you can use to run a cable to your tv. if your card does not have that s-video plug, then you'll need to purchase a video card that does have one. thats the only easy way.

You have a few options.
1. Not really what you're asking, but you can burn the movie onto a DVD and then watch it with your DVD player. Burning a DVD in the right format will require software that can author a DVD (just burning the movie straight onto a data disc will not work correctly).
2. HDTVs very frequently have a VGA input. VGA is the same type of connection that your computer's monitor uses. Just get a long video cable and connect your computer to your HDTV.
3. If your TV doesn't have a VGA input, there are a few other things it may have. The best quality is a so-called component video connection, which uses 3 RCA jacks for the video signal. The next-best quality is S-Video, which uses a special 7-pin connector. Finally, there's composite video, which uses a single RCA connector. (here's a video card that supports all three: http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/cadgis/products/parhelia/apve.php)
4. DVI (the common digital output from computer video cards), can be converted to HDMI, a digital input format for HDTVs (see here for converters: http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/DVI_monitor_cables.html), so if you have a video card that supports DVI out, you can use this as well.
Once you have the video connected, you'll also need to connect the audio - this is much simpler - you'll typically need a cable that has a jack with a mini-plug (the standard earphone connector on your sound card) on one side, and two RCA jacks (to plug into your TV or stereo) on the other side.
Frankly, burning DVDs may be the most convenient option.

Check if your computer has an S-Video output. If yes, check if you're television has an S-Video input. Most LCD's and Plasmas already have it. If you have a home theatre system where all your components are going into one receiver, check the receiver for an S-Video.
If your computer has analog outputs, then it's easy and all you need is to buy the standard audio/video cables.
If you have an LCD/Plasma, you may already have a PC monitor connector in the rear depending on its make/model. Then you'll just need to get a monitor cable to connect it to your tower.
If you have none of the above, you should shop for a new video card that has video outputs that your television supports. Without knowing how old the computer is and its make/model, I'd check the manual or contact the vendor to see what's compatible, whether it's an AGP, PCI, or PCI express.
