Hey lizziekwon,
From the first site:
Marc Chagall -- Salvador Dali -- Leonardo Da Vinci
Paul Klee -- Henri Matisse -- Claude Monet
Pablo Picasso -- Pierre Auguste Renoir -- Henri Rousseau
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec -- Vincent Van Gogh -- Andy Warhol
If none of these is doing it for you, go to one of the other sites and look at the Artist Directories.
There is a ton of information on Leonardo's Mona Lisa, it would make an excellent if not overdone project.
If you are into Christian Art, try Paul Medina's, Crusifiction
Or try Max Weber (American, 1881 - 1961), "Interior of the Fourth Dimension", 1913 oil on canvas (last site below)

Monet, Impression Sunrise or some of his series paintings. Van Gogh, Starry Night; Picasso, Family of Acrobats with Monkey; Braque, Nude Decending a Staircase; Renoir, The Piano Lesson; Marc, Three Horses; Dali, The Burning Giraffe; Leonardo, Mona Lisa, Michelangelo, David or Pieta, Bosch, The Hay Wain.....there are so many artists and paintings.
It's hard to just pick out "GOOD" or famous artist's. If you had a little more info about the project or your interests, it would be easier to pick some things you might enjoy.

Try these.
1. Gainsborough - " Blue Boy"
2. Fragonard - " The Reader"
3. Jaume Huguet - "The Last Supper"
4. Georgia O'Keeffe - "Light Iris"
5. Renoir - "A Girl with a Watering Can"
Hope that helps.

Depends on what you like. Beginners usually like VanGogh (Starry Night), Chagall (The Kiss), and some Picasso drawings. There are too many to list here.
