Around this time of year, my b-friend goes into a funk, grieving for a dead fiance who died in a car crash 8 years ago. He misses her very much and is very, very sad. The problem is that I am in his life and he seems to be rejecting me since he is comparing how he felt when he was with her vs. how he feels with me. I'm very torn since I am certain I cannot possibly compete with the memory of a dead woman and should bail, but isn't it jerky of me to bail on someone who's hurting so badly? Shouldn't I wait until he's out of his funk? Otherwise, he's a healthy, happy person who has a wide variety of interests and energy. Should I wait until he's out of his funk to talk to him about really letting go? Is it possible to assess that he'll never let go and if I stick around, I'll face rejection every year about this time?

ok he was seperated at the time.
he is very good friend of my family, and was hesitant at first but we hit it off. we got to know eachother for 4 months in summer but we never did anything. we got very close, would hang out at his place alot and he would call me everyday and we would talk for hours. one sunday i was supposed to hangout with him and he told me that it wouldnt be a good idea because he and his ex want to try and work things out. i was so hurt because three nights beofre that he had come to my house at 3 am to tell me that he wants to be with me and he can see me raising his kids and us having a life together. My family foud out about us the next day and threatened to beat his ***. he works with all of my uncles and they were giving him the cold shoulder and mikeing him feels uncomfortable. I fell in love with him and i know he loved me to. what do you make of this. i still will see him at my family parties and stuff, what would you do. i miss him so much.

I heard that having your heat too low can freeze the water pipes or break the heater or something. How low is too low. Right now my house is at 55 but I will still be paying a lot even though that is cold for heat i am not there to use. Thank you

I don't watch hollyoaks but i glanced at it earlier today and i noticed that one of the women on the show looked and sounded like karen mccdonald from coronation street. I don't know the hollyoaks womans character name but she has long dark hair, tanned skin and a kinda yorkshire accent -- she just got dumped for having crabs by the sound of it lol
So i'm just wondering if anyone knows if they are sisters

i think im a nice person, 22, i love animals and i try to treat people nicely and be respectful, people say im pretty. but i can't even lift my head up when i walk out in public. I feel worthless, like i mean nothing. I have zero self confidence ,and people pick up on that and don't talk to me. I dont have any friends. The only person i talk to is my sister. i can't do things that normal people do, like shop at the mall, go to parties, have get to-gethers or anything like that. i avoid social functions at all costs because i feel so nervous and inadequate. i think i have social anxiety really bad but i can't afford to get treatment, i called and it was $115 an hour so im going to a free counselor at school but i dont know if that's going to work. why do i feel so bad about myself all the time? When i do go out, i see girls that are prettier, smilier, and younger than me, and it seems they all have boyfriends, and i feel like a piece of junk. how can i feel better about myself?

i have this freind who thinks mcfly are better than Queen just because they sang a Queen song (don't stop me now). but iam trying to say that Queen are better than mcfly because mcfly are rubbish singers. me and my husband were having a conversation about ex's and he told me that he is still cool with some of his. He said that they established the no sex rule years ago, but if they need him for anything he'll be there for them and vice versa. I say that's a bunch of bull. So if that's the case I should be able to do anything for my ex if he should need me and vice versa. Since I'm married I feel I shouldn't need him for "anything" Am I being too sensitive?

I read an article about the Ashley Treatment, and a few people wrote in the comments something about it being "(the word)"
I didn't know what that word meant, and I looked it up it meant something like altering the genetics. I think it was genetics with a prefix.
Does anyone happen to know what I mean and help me?
