It's hard to do, but live within your own code, and don't be controlled by what others think. If you try to please all the people all the time, you'll end up pleasing no one, even yourself.

call me old fashioned, but I thought guys were supposed to ask the girls? plus, you don't want to get this guy on the rebound, all those mixed emotions make him want to find instant relief from whoever he can. Give the guy some time, and if he likes you then he will probably ask you to the dance. If not, then I'm sure you'll have plenty more opportunities in the future, patience will pay off! I hope I didn't seem too insensitive or anything, but I recently experienced a similar situation, so I know what not to do here. In the end, it's up to you girl. Good luck!

If you like him ask him, dont worry about what your friends think if they are really your friends then they will abide by your decission, as for him breaking up just a month earlier, you are not asking him to go steady, just to go to a dance, take it slow and easy, get to know him, and have fun

If you like him and he is available ask and have a good time. This is one of those times where what other people think doesn't matter.

Life is too short not to have fun!

well if you like him and you want to ask him then do it follow your heart just cause your friends dont like him doesnt mean ne thing, neither does the fact that he is younger if you really like him then do it. it might turn into somethin good in the end and if your friends care about you they will understand

Ask him in a creative way, if he is yonger then 15 his heart and emotions can not be messed up from his privious girlfriend. If you friends dont like them, they probably dont know him, plus its a date... if it goes well you can have more dates after that.

We all need to do what make's us happy , you can only please one person a day and every day after . So it is best to please your self or you will be very unhappy my boy friend of 7 years is like 3 years younger then me and we are doing good so age is not that big of a deal .

your friends are just people that you know right now and one day you may never see them again.live the life you choose. If this person is what you like than stand up for your self and go for what you want.If he turns out to be a jerk,so what you live and learn, but what if he turns out to be a prince????lol.have fun and use your own mind,it's there for you not for others to try to remold, every one has their own lives to work on so you work on yours.
