You can't reserve it without a credit card, but you can pay in cash without a reservation, assuming the hotel has room for you. Bring extra cash, and check the hotel policy in advance; most hotels want a deposit against damages or unpaid room charges (movies, room service, etc) and if they are willing to accept cash, they will want a couple hundred dollars extra when you check in. You get it back when you check out and settle your bill.

It depends... most chain hotels require a credit card even if you actually pay with cash. That way if you trash the room they can charge your card.
But, a lot of independent mom-and-pop type hotels don't require a credit card. They sometimes ask for your driver's license and write down your home address just in case.

i don't think you can book a hotel without a credit card. but I have booked a hotel with credit card and paid with cash when i checked out.

Depends on the policy of the hotel - some will allow you to register at 18 but most at 21. They are NOT legally obligated to rent you a room if you are not of age.......

dont think so for whatever reason i do not understand they wont let you pay cash,even if they do they still want to see a credit card

yes, you just wont be able to reserve the room before hand you will have to wait untill your there in person to get the room and pay.
