I have a an old HP laserjet 1100 printer, and a very new HP laptop, and unfortunately I don't have a 25 pin parallel socket on the laptop, so I therefore can't connect my printer.

I also bought a USB to parallel cable, thinking I could just connect it to a USB port, but the socket on the printer seems old and strange, and it won't connect to the typical parallel cable.

I'm in San Diego and Radio Shack couldn't help me as they only had the same USB/parallel cable which I already have.

How else can I connect a 25 pin parallel cable onto my new laptop, so I can print?

I have a small four-year old teacup chihuahua, ever since she was about a year old she became over protective and mean. I was always very nice to her and I have no idea why she does this. I have dealt with it for the past couple of years but I just can't stand it anymore. I now have two other dogs, one being her mate and the other her puppy, and she hardley wants to have anything to do with them. Most of the time when I come around her she growls and tries to bite me, she does the same to the other dogs. I now have to put her in her own room and leave her in there so she won't get upset. I feel bad for her but I don't know what I should do.
PLEASE HELP!

I have a 3.0 intel 4 ht processor, 2 gb of 3200 RAM, and a 9250 256kb ati vid card (pci): I think my graphics should run more smoothly than they are running. Winamps visualizations run choppy, even with resolution set low, most games run poorly, some games like "Scarface" are unplayable.Is it time to go duo core or do you think I have a setting messed up somewhere.

Ok, I am unsure as the next steps I should take. I need to confirm that the home test was correct with a blood test but do I go to an ob/gyn for that? I have an appointment with an ob/gyn coordinator but will they expect me to have already taken a blood test? I am so confused! Someone please explain to me the steps I should take.

where in the bible can I find information about the 12 disciples and each of their reactions to the persecution and eventual death of Jesus? I know that Judas betrayed him and then killed himself and that Peter denied he knew him three times, but I don't know much about the other's and their reactions? Hi, today i lifted my dad into a fireman carry a succesful picked him up. I then set him down got the camera and did it again. except this time something POPED! it was in my lower right part of my back. SO now it hurts for all the activitys i do. The reason I ask is because I was injured on the job last week. I went to the doctor, filled out the necessary paper work with the doctor, and today I found out that my employer hasn't even filled out anything about the incident, even though I informed him I had been injured immediately after. My (soon to be former) employer doesn't have any safety programs in place, and he never offered any assistance after I told him I'd been injured.

I've never dealt with Worker's Comp before. Does anyone know how hard they'll go to bat for you if you're injured?

My teacher assigned me to copy out her classroom rules 20 times. They are so long, 2 pages typed (its about 6 pages handwritten). I just finished copying it out 5 times and my hand hurts like hell. I don't think I can finish it by tomorrow, which then she will double. Normally she assigns lines, but this time she decided to give me more writing.
