Genesis was also an awesome Progressive rock band from the 70's. The were good until about 1974 when Peter Gabriel quit and Phil Collins took over vocal duties. Their best album, in my opinion is 1972's "Foxtrot" followed by 1973's(?)"Selling England by the Pound"

Genesis (Hebrew: בראשית, Greek: Γένεσις, having the meanings of "birth", "creation", "cause", "beginning", "source" and "origin") is the first book of the Torah, the first book of the Tanakh and also the first book of the Christian Old Testament. As Jewish tradition considers it to have been written by Moses, it is sometimes also called The First Book of Moses.

In Hebrew, it is called בראשית (B'reshit or Bərêšîth),[1] after the first word of the text in Hebrew (meaning "in the beginning"). This is in line with the pattern of naming the other four books of the Pentateuch.

JIBBA PRIME does not know what he is talking about. LoL

So know I didn't know. And I know that it does not mean "evolutionary" beginning but just beginning. So there could be an Evolutionary Genesis

It actually means ''coming into being-beginning''. Many fundies will not accept this as being made as written in the Bible. Other people will take it as the beginning of things thru evolution. I believe G-d made things---with ever going changing-this being evolution.
