The basis of corruption is deep rooted that goes centuries back. A major global revolution or event would have to occur in order to wipe the slate clean. A strong force or new world order if you may.

the constitution about ruling the country should be changed in this way.....
3 years democracy then 3 month martial law.....again 3 years democracy then 3 month martial law.....and so on and on.....

when a goverment is elected it will take up a year to do all the plannings and settings to rule perfectly.
the second year is the year when all get corrupted.

majority will not DARE to face the millitary after the corruptions records he or she had achieved.....and will RESTORE and set up everything back to RIGHT before the military comes in power........on the third year...

the deadliest and the most effective weapon used here is FEAR.
and LO and BEHOLD ur SOLID STEP wish may come true......

A person who exposes corruption in society is called a "Whistleblower". In the process he will be exposed to a severe backlash where the person exposed will do his best to absolve himself sometimes using rough and uncouth means. The first and foremost aspect is protection for the 'Whistleblower'. If the government can afford to set up this protection machinery, then and only then can we see the decline of corruption. Anyone and everyone would be only more than willing to expose corruption in our society.

Basically, I feel there are following 5 reasons for escalation of corruption.
1. Lack of knowledge of governing laws / Rules to common people.
2. Loop holes in the system
3. Accountability of government officials for wrong doings
4. Delayed justice
5. No fear of law in the minds of miscreant.

To eradicate corruption, following steps must be taken up seriously.

1. Accountability of govt officials - In every govt office, the work and time required must be displayed at the entrance. (It’s done in many offices but not followed in practice) Once the job is given to government official, he must complete it within stipulated time. Otherwise, the common man is put to lot of inconvenience. He must be given due respect and the govt official a solid punishment. Only punitive action will make the things straight. For any illegal thing, the concerned govt officer, if held responsible and liable for punishment, he will ensure that the illegal things will not happen in his territory / jurisdiction. Also Plug the loop holes in the system

2. To keep watch on the property of the govt officials. Any disproportionate property, he must be given notice and one chance to explain. If found guilty, must be sacked. His illegal property must be seized and deposited in Govt treasury.

3. Immediate action on common man's work. He should not be wasting his time in follow up with govt. offices. Justice delayed is justice denied.

4. Improve public awareness about law / rules and provoke them to refrain from corruption with an assurance that their work will be done without giving money to any one.

5. The punishment should be rigorous and there should be fear of law in the minds of miscreant. The law is same for all but the execution is subject to the influence of the guilty. This must change at once.

I am confident; this will bring down corruption drastically.
