Where can I read about the 12 disciples?

Question

where in the bible can I find information about the 12 disciples and each of their reactions to the persecution and eventual death of Jesus? I know that Judas betrayed him and then killed himself and that Peter denied he knew him three times, but I don't know much about the other's and their reactions? I am trying to learm more about the bible so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question.

1.Jesus Christ chose 12 disciples during His earthly ministry and commissioned them as apostles and sent them forth. Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
2.The word apostle means to be sent forth. Jesus Christ is the Apostle and High Priest our profession. Hebrews 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
3.Jesus chose a devil as one of these apostles so the scripture could be fulfilled. John 6: 70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? John 17: 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
4.Judas my transgression fell. Acts 1:25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. The scripture is Gentiles was fulfilled when the seed of Satan head was bruised.
5.Two were chosen to replace Judas. This had to be done because the kingdom was still being offered and there were 12 thrones in the kingdom that the apostle had been promised. Matthew 19 28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. To qualify to be apostles the men had to have companied with the apostles all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among them. Acts 1:21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, Acts 1:22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
6.They cast lots and prayed for the Lord to show them which man should be chosen. Acts 1:23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. Acts 1:24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, Acts 1:26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles. The casting of lots was all that they knew on how to choose the Lords will. Leviticus 16:8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. Paul didn’t qualify to be one of the 12 kingdom Apostles and could not have replaced Judas.
7.Paul was chosen from heaven and was sent to the gentiles with a new message. Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: He was a blasphemer and the only was he could ever be saved was thought the grace of God. 1 Timothy 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 1 Timothy 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
8.Christ called Paul from heaven not by man. Galatians 1:1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
9.Paul was the first to be placed in the body of Christ.(the church) and the church started with him when the Lord placed him in that body by the Spirit. 1 Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
10.Paul didn’t feel worthy to even be called an apostle. 1 Corinthians 15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
11.Paul was given the signs of an apostle so that he could also go to unbelieving Israel. He could raise the dead heal the sick just like the other apostles before him. Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
12.Do we have apostles today? The answer of course is no. God is not doing signs and wonders today. We walk by faith and not by sight. God is using the members of the body of Christ to get the word out. 2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
13.Does Satan have apostles today? The answer is yes. Satan is not using angels today because God is not using angels. Paul tells us that Satan’s apostles appear as the apostles of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we. 2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. We do not have the doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ He gave to Israel when He was on the earth in the flesh. 2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

all 4 Gospels have their own accounts of the crusifiction. Although the reactions and actions are limited. you'll only find a few accounts of what they thought and did. for example Peter denied knowing Jesus. Thomas didn't believe that Jesus had ressurected.

They all had 12 deciples, (mithra and saturns birthdays were placed on dec. 25th) all walked on water, died to save mankind, all were believed to "come again" by the pagans when they were needed to save them again.

They all had 12 deciples and had a last supper with their deciples of bread and wine.
