Abby, my kitty, is 2 years old and she is mean. She hisses when she doesnt get her way and she actually hits other people. She is nice around me and my husband, but thats it. We want to get another cat and we are not sure if we should get a female or male. How long should we give Abby to get used to another cat. I was told about 2 weeks. What are some things that we can do to let her know that we love her just as much. I dont want her to feel unloved. Thank you much :)

You can have lower gas prices by removing most of the 50 plus blend requirements for gas to a few, allow Americans to drill for oil that is all over the nation, and remove many of the gas taxes. This will lower the costs of all of our goods and services because gas will cost a lot less. This will help the pockets of all Americans, which you claim to support.

My new bf calls me everyday so we can talk. Last night when he called me, he was with his friend. So, I told him he should spend time with her, instead of calling me (no jealousy or anything). He really got offended and hung up on me.

In my opinion, when he is spending time with his friends or family, that is the time for them. I think he should've called me when he was available to me. I don't see why he got offended. Anybody have an idea?

A distinguished young woman on a flight from Switzerland turned to the priest beside her and said "Father, may I ask a favor?"

"Well, I bought an expensive electronic hair dryer that is well over the Customs limits and I'm afraid they'll confiscate it. Is there anyway you could carry it through Customs for me? Under your robes perhaps?"

"I would love to help you, dear, but I must warn you: I will not lie."

"With your honest face, Father, no one will question you."

When they got to Customs, she let the priest go ahead of her. The official asked, "Father, do you have anything to declare?"

The priest replied "From the top of my head down to my waist, I have nothing to declare."

The official thought this answer somewhat strange, so he asked, "And what do you have to declare from your waist to the floor?"

"I have a marvelous little instrument designed to be used on a woman, but which is, to date, unused."

I was put on vicodin for my pain well they ended up giving me hydrocodone that wasn't strong enough for my kidney stones and PID so i was written loratab the pharmacy didn't give me loratab they gave me hydrocodone/apap 7.5/500 they didn't ask to see my id either since i thought it was a controlled substance right in the left hand corner it has the rx's numcers but no c for controlled substance i'm just asking cause this medicine is doing nothing for me i'm hurting so bad! What is this new medicine?

Two Marines boarded a quick shuttle flight out of Dallas, headed for Houston.
One sat in the window seat, the other sat in the middle seat.

Just before take-off, an Army soldier got on and took the aisle seat next to the two Marines.

The Soldier kicked off his shoes, wiggled his toes and was settling in when the Marine in the window seat said, "I think I'll get up and get a coke."
"No problem," said the Soldier, "I'll get it for you."

While he was gone, the Marine picked up the Soldier's shoe and spit in it. When the Soldier returned with the coke, the Marine in the middle seat said, "That looks good, I think I'll have one too."

Again, the Soldier obligingly went to fetch it and while he was gone, the Marine picked up the soldier's other shoe and spit in it. The Soldier returned and they all sat back and enjoyed the rest of the short flight to Houston.

As the plane was landing, the Soldier slipped his feet into his shoes and knew immediately what had happened.

1967 Pontiac Grand Prix 400 CI engine, 350 horses. Timing set correctly, carb air/fuel mix screws set with a vacuum gauge and by RPM's indicator. . Electric choke--Electronic ignition . A girl friend of mine had been dating a guy for about 1 month. They had never been intimate other than kissing. He seemed to be really into her and she was liking him. One day last week, he spent the night but she says they didn't touch or have sex at all. She told me she was just going to take things slow and they just talked and she went to sleep in his arms. She said they woke up the next day and he acted normal but he never called her again. Today, she called me crying because she hadn't heard from him in over a week and he is not returning her calls. I've never had this happen to me and I'm not sure why he is doing this to her because he seemed like a decent guy, he is in his mid 30's so he doesn't seem like he was into games and he seemed like would appreciate a respectful woman but just from how he is treating her, maybe I'm wrong. What do you think?

I go to Bentley College, a small business school near Boston that has strong finance/accounting programs. I am looking to break into investment banking when I graduate. However, I feel at a huge disadvantage because I do not go to a prestigious university.

Each year, big i-banks such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan hire college graduates with only a bachelors degree from the likes of Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and even some non-Ivies like Carnegie Mellon. I am not one of those people. However, I do boast a very good GPA and plan on getting a finance internship this coming summer.

With that said, how are my chances of landing a position at one of the big investment banks in NYC? And if they are indeed low, what can I do to obtain that type of position without an MBA? Remember, I am looking to break in with just a B.S. in finance, but without the brand name.

You work for 10 years after finishing school, then you get to retire for 15 years before you have to return to work. But then you have to work until you die? What are the benefits of this plan for you and for the company you work for? What are the drawbacks (and money is not an issue so don't say money!)
