Yes you can. If my recollection is good, I believe all eggs are pasturized to a degree, don't ask me how, as I too was surprised to hear that. The incidence of salmonella is reportedly a very low percentage so it actually turns out to be personal choice. You have a higher chance of contracting salmonella from not cleaning the surface that you cut raw chicken on and preparing other foods on that surface.

Yeah, old recipes used to use raw eggs all the time, but because of the risk of salmonella, it's not advised.

When I was a kid I used to have raw eggs with port-wine.The mix was awesome.The sweet wine and the egg were a excellent snack.That was then.Now,is not good.Too many diseases all over.No safe any more.

Caesar salad dressing (along with other things) has raw egg

(normally Salmonella is not found inside the egg - use fresh eggs that have no cracks in the shells and as an extra precaution wash the shell lightly before cracking the egg open)

Have you ever seen Rocky? But it's not really safe, you could get salmonella, same with raw chicken.

u physically can but since it isn't cooked u could get sick some how but if u don't get any virus from it usually nothing will happen
