Vicodin and Lortab are the EXACT SAME THING as hydrocodone. Just different brand names. They probably just upped the dosage from 5/500 to 7.5/500.
Whatever you do, don't go the ER and DEMAND something stronger. That's a good way to get labelled a drug seeker and be thrown out.
Have you tried Toradol? Best for kidney stone relief in most cases.

Wow, you are really confused- Vicodin, Lortab, and Hydrocodone are all exactly the same thing. There are different strengths of all of them, but the 7.5/500mg is nearly the strongest they make. If this is not working, you need to call your doctor. You might be a candidate for IV painkillers, especially if you have a kidney stone. Take your prescriptions to the emergency room with you and show them what you've already tried. Don't show up empty handed or you will just look as though you are drug seeking. Good luck!!

What they gave you was the generic form of vicodin. You should have been asked for your ID. It does have the same ingredients as Loritab it's just a generic form. You may need to call your Dr if it's not working on your pain. He may need to up you to percocet which would be oxycodone 10/325 in it's generic form.

It's exactly what you were prescribed. Sometimes the pain a patient feels simply overpowers even the strongest meds. You might want to look into going to an anesthesiologist's private clinc and getting pain reducing injections or other treatment.

Loratab is the same as Hydrocodone and Tylenol and it most likely isnt as strong as the Vicodin that you had.

From a past kidney stone victim.......I suggest you go to the emergency room and demand something stronger than 7.5! there is no way that is going to help with the pain you have.
Help yourself......go to the emergency room and get something stronger!
oh, and the 10's are yellow now......and much harder to break! my mom takes those.
