Well there is probably a reason why she doesn't like the boy...

I think you should talk to your mom about it...tell him that you like him alot. But on the other hand, there must be a reason she doesn't like that boy so what I think your mom should get to know him better, and if there's still something she doesnt like about that, then theres definatly something wrong with him....good luck

Start slow to win your Mom over. Have him come by to help you with your homework... Next time ask your Mom if he can come for dinner and then help you with your homework.
Just take walks with him around your house. Perhaps he can stop by on a weekend and help your family out with chores or a project.
Your Mom knows better than you (she was a teen once too!) and might see something in him that you don't. Talk to her...

Well, you may believe this or not, but your mom may see something in him that you might not.... Trust her instincts, or at least ask her why she dislikes him so much. Listen to her with an open mind.

maybe there's reasons to it..check him out and see if he's a good guy..the one that'll treat you right..she might b picking up some sort of energy from him..trying to b protective of u but maybe she just doesn't want u to date him..investigate
