Purina Diet

I was in Wal-Mart buying a large bag of Purina for my
dog Lola - and was in line to check out. A woman behind
me asked if I had a dog........ Duh!

I was feeling a bit crabby so on impulse, I told her no,
I was starting The Purina Diet again, although I probably
shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time,
but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an
intensive care unit with tubes coming out of most of
my orifices and IV's in both arms.

Her eyes about bugged out of her head. I went on and on
with the bogus diet story and she was totally buying it.

I told her that it was an easy, inexpensive diet and that
the way it works is to load your pockets or purse with
Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you
feel hungry.

The package said the food is nutritionally complete so
I was going to try it again. I have to mention here that
practically everyone in the line was by now enthralled
with my story, particularly a tall guy behind her.

Horrified, she asked if something in the dog food had
poisoned me and was that why I ended up in the hospital?

I said no.....I'd been sitting in the street licking my butt
when a car hit me.

I thought the tall guy was going to have to be carried
out the door.

the last two persons who've had the most important job in the known UNIVERSE were both users/abusers in their youth. I know this is a question that "makes
a statement more than asks for an answer," but I DO want some thoughtful response here. Shouldn't the "past drug use" question be a lot less emphasized if not eliminated?

My husband works long hours and is an obsessive clean freak! When he comes home from work he complains the moment he steps in the door about petty things...(toys, crumbs on the floor, etc...) Anytime he asks our two daughters, ages 6 and 4, to do something or disipline them, they scream and cry,run or totally ignore him. They tell him they hate him or wishes he would go back to work quite often. I know their behavior has hurt my husbands feelings and I've told them their behavior is unacceptable but it still continues...My husband rarely takes the time to spend time with the girls but does make it a point to spend time with our 3mo. son. I wonder if this has made the girls jealous and if this is the reason for it, but it was this way before my son was born it's just gotten worse. I want my kids to have a good relationship with their father but I'm not exactly sure what I can do to help make the relationship better. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Did the laxatives work?
A man goes to his doctor suffering from constipation.The doctor prescribes a powerful laxative but asks the man some questions so he can calculate the right dosage."How long will it take you to get home from here?" asks the doc.
"20 minutes," replies the man.The doctor pours a dose of laxative into a glass. "And how long will it take you to get from the front door of yur house to your bathroom?"asks the doctor.
"I'd guess about 30seconds," replies the man.The doctor adds a small amount of laxative to the glass."And how long will it take you to drop your trousers and sit on the toilet?" asks the doctor.I'd say 5seconds," answers the man. i am trying to start eating fruit for breakfast every morning, but i dont know how long some specific items will keep if i store them in the refrigerator. specifically i am wondering about mangos, strawberries and Kiwi. i know strawberries are probably the shortest life span, but i dont know much about unsliced kiwi or mango. any other suggestions on fruits and how long they keep would be WELL appreciated. my daughter is a young girl ! that has feeling to this boy and i told her date him but no sex ? so one time she came home and told me mom i have a problem ! and she said that she wants to have sex ! with him so i gave her a dildo ! and she takes it everywhere to her ! iam scared should i take it away ! becuase she is using it alot ! like 10 times a day ! why |? and then she invited her girl friends over ! they all had dildo's

I have been on my own for 4 years, we have 4 children. I thought I'd moved on but seemingly I've just got on...me and Ex have tried to maintain friends and know he wants answer's to why the marriage broke up and he wants us to get back together. I feel desperate. I love him but scared that history would repeat. He will do anything to get us back together and I am so depressed, It feels like we have just split again. We have started to go to relate, but it seems to be directed towards the relationship getting back and starting again. I want to be happy but were wern't happy being married and it became desperate and conditional. I know that a friendship may well be lost and I don't think I could cope with that. I'm really messed up.
