His Gray Ink HOF score is about 31 and the average HOF player is 144. His Black Ink HOF score is about 26 and the average HOF player is 50.

He isn't even close to being there. The most similar by age are Eric Karros and Lee May. Neither of those two are going in either.

Nah, there's no way he should get in. If people like Goose Gossage came up shy in the voting. ( like 73% I think). Theres no way Tino can get in, I can see him getting a few votes. But He'll never get near enough votes to get the 75% you need to make it to the HOF. Tino never really shined on any team anyways, but he was a good player just by being as consistent as he was. Its safe to say he had a good career, but he will hardly be remembered in the near future.

No you are not wrong. Tino Martinez is not HOF material. He didn't bat over .300 (.271 to be exact), did not hit 400 HR, and has less than 50 SB.

Very average numbers!!

Your right i dont know what article to what paper it belonged to but Tino Martinez will never get into the hall of fame and if he does thats a crime, he was a solid player and a cluth player but nothing close to a hall of famer.

Mattingly for particular. often times i might want to video show him and say wow. like the 12 months he set the numerous league list with 6 grand slams in a unmarried 12 months. i don't believe of he hit any earlier or after that season. Tino changed into ok yet not on the fringe of Don.

You are right - Tino was good, but no where near hall of fame he definitely wasn't better than Orel Hershiser, and he just got knocked off the ballot

I agree with your no way in hell theory. If he gets in it will lower the standards forever.
