As a female, when I am introduced to someone, am I suppose to reach out and shake their hand? Does it matter if it's a man or a woman? I definately won't do this if I'm eating and I've never initiated a hand shake. Just curious to know the proper etiquette. It always seemed like a man thing. Thanks!!!

Last night was crazy time. My daughter is getting ready to do her science fair project, and yesterday her science teacher approved her project. But the teacher also told her that some kids had already finished their projects.

This put my daughter into a world-class tizzy. Her project is fairly complex, involving the growth of bacteria cultures. Some of the projects other kids are doing are less complicated and don't involve time-consuming processes, so they are quicker to do. But all my daughter sees is that she's behind others (not so, according to her teacher).

When things like this happen, she gets absolutely panic-striken and starts tearing up and getting upset, and starts pushing on us, her parents, to run around like crazy people to try to do overnight what will take a week to do.

I don't know what the source of the anxiety/panic is. We don't push her and never have. She's a high achieving perfectionist and I need help. What can I do to stop the panic/anxiety?

Our small backyard is cut in half by a large shed. Basically, we have two yards, one that has immediate access to the house and one that you have to take a walkway between the shed and garage to get to. You can't see one yard from the other. The "extra" backyard behind the shed is 14 x 16, and is covered in gravel right now.

I hate that ugly gravel mess, but I don't know what to do with it. Any ideas?

since im asian i have BLACK hair and is hard to get like bleach blond i want like this

(which i am hoping to achieve!) and i had to literally bleach my hair 5 TIMES. i colored my hair 1st(Fruit Garnier Bleach) two weeks ago, 2nd(Fruit Garnier Bleach) a few days later, 3rd(Some drug store bleach) about five days later, 4th(Loreal Quick Blue) couple days later, and the 5th(Loreal Quick Blue) few days later. and i left on the bleaches from 30-60 minutes. heres an actual picture of my hair RIGHT NOW

suprisingly its not that damaged from how my hair was before. shouldnt my hair have turned that color by now?!?! what went wrong? and what should i do to get that color?

not from a dating sense but just being curious. I truly look like a different guy. was 270 now 220 at 6'3" with 15 more to go. I've done a lot of it through cardio so I am getting fit too. I think she knows I've been on this program and I've been thinking by this time she would have made it a point to check in....but really nothing. I have not done this for her, but for my health. I know it's not all about me so please no comments like that. I know inside is more important blah blah...lol. but still, physically she'd be dating a different guy. isn't that at lest a LITTLE compelling? Why did she dump me? as George Straint croons..."I didn't tell her, each day I loved her. I took her for granted" Too damn busy with work and all that stuff. I used to tell her that before she met me I was an in-shape guy. now I can show her but if she doesn't care....why bother? please no "move on dude" comments. 2 months have passed since the send off, and she hasn't seen me in 4 mos.
