I can't go to sleep without the telly or radio on.
I noticed that whenever there's a blackout, everything goes off. The subliminal hum of appliances and all. Known as the 'Roaring Silence'.

no I leave the TV on for Rowdy so he doesn't feel too lonely, or bark at every sound from outside. That and I think he's a QVC fan.

nope.i love silence.
but sometimes i leave the sound because silence get more than silent and thats not tolerable.
