I keep mine clipped as soon as see some white growth so they are clean & nothing can get under them. Back before when I had a different lifestyle & wasn't a stay-at-home Momma, I'd keep them longer & painted. I've never used 'em in a fight. Watch day time soaps & you'll get your fill. They actually have adults playing some of the roles. Wonder if they think it feels good to get paid to act that way? Does it make an impression on youth when they see their idols behaving that way? Anything for excitement or entertainment?

I have nails that are about 1/2 to 3/4 inches long. They actually hurt me more then anyone else. It bruises the nailbed when they get pulled upward. Granted they work great for back scratches. They dont cut skin because I cant put that kind of pressure on them.

I have just average nails, but have been in a fight and used them. If you dig a pull you can leave scars.
