I was on it and i loved it I didn't experience any weight gain and it was really simple to use.

Hormonal birth control doesn't make you gain weight by itself. It increases your appetite, so you want to eat more. so if you eat crap food and don't excercise enough then you gain weight (as you would if your weren't on birth control). The hormones also mean that any fat you do put on is deposited in more visible areas like boobs, butt and thighs.
