I was with this guy alex. hes lived across the street from me for 4 years. Everything was going great and we were both really happy. Until i told him i loved him. well he said it back but i later found out he lied to me. And he felt so bad he just stopped talking to me. Its been 5 months now, and i still cant get over him! i've tried but the feeling keep comeing back. How do i get over him!!!?? please, i really cant take this

hello out there in cyber land! unfortunaley i am up and lonely and depressed. does anyone have a guy like mines. EXP: ask him a certain question and he gets mad? OR UMM LETS SEE.... you show any type of emotion and they get mad or they call you names or talk and make you feel bad?

i really cant seem to figure this out i mean are men really that stupid or clueless about life?

ok i want to be a doctor i always have but i messed up in high school so now i have decided to go to CC first. my friend who just GOT in to MED school advised me to do as he did and do a double major in science. he did biochemistry and chemistry. i dont like chemistry much. i am ok at it but i love biology. so he advised me to major in biology and microbiology. would that help me get a high score on MCATS? he got near perfect score.

The is a serious question- no Christian fanatics quoting the bible please. If you are a non fanatical christian, feel free to chime in :) I am interested in other's thoughts. I don't care what religion you are, or even if you follow your own beliefs- I am just wondering.
My take is that as long as you live morally, (though recent tests show DNA determines basic morality and society influences it...another story) you will go on to a better place, whether you believe in the "right" god(s) or not. Why would any supreme being wish others to be punished for being good, no matter who they worshipped. I believe in gods and godesses, but it is a two-way street. They don't exist without worshippers, and humans need something to believe in- that there is something better out there.
Any takes? Comments?

I keep reading questions and seeing answers about how angry the Atheists are at us Christians in the religion & spirituality forum for trying to convert them.

To the atheists out there, if you aren't here seeking answers and you don't offer any answers because you believe in nothing, what exactly are you trying to do here in this forum?

Obviously you aren't trying to save my soul. What are you trying to convert me to?

This is my very first ticket, and I really do not think I should have had one issued. I've never had any other traffic tickets of any kind before. I've always strived to keep my record clean and I want to keep it that way for a long time.

Twice now within 2 month this happened: I parked the car after normal driving. 1 hr later I tried to start, the starter went "click" and all lights went out. I tried boosting from another car. the lights were on when turned on the ignition but went out as soon as I tried to start. 2 month ago it was towed to a shop. After the car was lowered from the tow truck a mechanic tried and started the car!

Today the same thing happened. The starter said "click" and everything went black. Everything was tried but did not work. The car got towed home, and tried again. The dome and dash lights are on, but go off as soon as ignition is turned on. Then I had my supper and after went out to walk to my daughter's place. I thought: try once more! - And it started like nothing had happened.

Does anybody have an idea why this off again on again can happen?

I weigh 65 kgs (143lbs) and would like to lose the last 5kilos (11lbs). I have lost alot of weight already but I went about that the silly way and stopped eating.. I know that to lose weight you have tol eat healthy and excersize but does anyone have an actual weekly eating plan that works???

My Dad and my Aunt had a little disagreement earlier today. My dad called me and we talked about it for a while, I mentioned that maybe my aunt had thought he was overbearing( he can be overbearing but does NOT realize it AT ALL) He said, "I dont know" we started talking about something else, and it seemed like the end of the discussion right there. Just now at almost 10pm, he calls me back asking, "What do YOU mean I am overbearing?That is not nice!!" I answered, "I did not say you were overbearing. I said Maybe Aunt---- thinks you are, she did mention that A LONG TIME AGO" My Dad said, "Ok I'm sorry I misunderstood you" I said ok, then he started going into the same stuff with my aunt all over again. I said "It is LATE. Can we talk about this tomorrow?" He said ok and did not seem mad. I am very close to leaving the phone off the hook at night because of these calls at all hours.

I'm half mexican and half Italian but I'm currently dating a guy who is white ( dutch and german decent), I introduced him to my family and my father(who is mexican) told me to break it off because "he's white and won't fit in".
