One person can't save everyone. I'm certain Oprah is aware of a great deal of suffering in the world, both near and far, because I'm certain she gets millions of letters telling her all about it. Oprah does tons of good things for others, more so than other wealthy celebrities. It's not fair to try to make a villain out of her because she doesn't choose to support the charity project you favor.

Looking for a handout, are you? Not fair that someone else is getting it and you aren't? Wah, go cry to your mommy and ask her to give you some lessons about life.

Ha! Good question. She wouldn't get as much exposure and face time on the air if she did that even though it would be much more appropriate and meaningful than her facade of largesse on the TV.

That has to be her decision. One thing is certain that the heart of the king is in the hands of God and He turns it when and how He wants to. She truly dosen't have to give if she dosen"t want to. If you watch her oln the T.V. she gives away plenty to people and God always causes her to get it back that's His promise.
Be encouraged

when someone works hard and saves their money and invests wisely. That is their money. They don't have to give it to anyone.
so who they choose to give it to is no one elses business.
If you are concerned about the poor in the Chicago area, then give your money to them.
