The Butterfly Effect was awesome. But really how much can one expand on the idea. It makes a great movie but that is about it, there can't be any truth to it....or we would have a lot more transporters around....don't you think???? What more can the sequel give us than the original did...not much!!

I loved the 1st Butterfly Effect.
I have not seen the 2nd version yet but from I got from the trailer, the gist of the movie is pretty much the same. The main character keeps going back in time to try and save his girlfriend who died in a car accident. Every time he goes back in time to change something, the outcome of his life changes.

that's referred to as the Butterfly result, because a chinese Chaos idea, properly-known because the Butterfly result, states that "the flexibility of a butterflies wings will be felt on the different aspect of the international." which signifies that something truly minor like a butterfly flapping its wings, might want to outcome in like a tsunami a techniques away, and that each and every thing is acceptable. that's extremely somewhat what the movie is about. The slightest substitute finally ends up replacing each and every thing.

OMG there's a second one! Awesome! I love the first one. HOPEFULLY the second one is about him talking to her and being with her because in the first one, nothing really happened between them in the end. it seemed incomplete for them to be strangers to each other. So hopefully the second one changes that.

I loved the first one, but after reading some posts here, I'll save my money on the second and wait for it to come out on cable.

i think the first ones incredibly underrated. the sequel didnt come out yet. maybe it'll be an heir of evan or something. or it could take place like 20 years after evan burnt all his **** and he tries to change his life using the new memories he created.

I cant watch it. I had started watching the first one and i had to turn it off. The movie isnt just disturbing...its everything inbetween. i wonder how anyone could think up such sick things to put on film. The dog burning and the girl's brother being stabbed in the back. I couldnt believe some guy would put that on film and call it a success. that was just......sick.

i like the first one. i don't think that the second one would be very interesting. they can't do anything different with it. it's probably like the first one only with different characters and worse acting.
