I dont know what it is but I cannot seem to sleep very well. I was taking anything with dyphahydramine in it which helped slightly. Then I went to the dr who gave me ambien cr and that helps a little more. But I seem to wake up exactly in 4 hours every night. Doesnt matter what time I go to bed, my body clock goes off in 4 hours. I work construction so I should be tired by the end of the day. I get up at 5:30 every morning and try to go to bed around 10:30. But at 2:30-3 I wake up. It is every 4 hours always nothing ever different. With the medicine I am easier to go back to sleep versus not taking it. But it makes me crazy to wake up in the middle of the night atleast 5 out of 7 nights. I have never heard anyone doing this but me. Anyone else have this problem? Even taking sleeping pills and the type of work I do you would think I would be out for the night. Just me and my husband home so no "noises" or kids in the night making it worse. Anyone have this too? What do you do?

Supermarket joke, anyone?

In vegetable section of a supermarket.

A man comes in & asks “Do you have half a head of lettuce?”
Assistant: No sir, we only sell whole heads of lettuce.”
But the man replies that he did not need a whole head, but only a half head.
The shop assistant says he’ll go ask his manager about the matter.
He says to his manager,
"There's some @sshole out there who wants to buy only a half a head of lettuce!"
As he was finishing saying this, he turns around to find the man standing right behind him, so he added, "mmm, And this gentleman wants to buy the other half!"
The manager okayed the deal and the man went on his way.

Later the manager called on the boy & said,
"You almost got yourself in a lot of trouble earlier, but I must say I was impressed with the way you got yourself out of it. You think on your feet and we like that around here. Where are you from son?"

The boy replied, "Minnesota sir."

"Oh really? Why did you leave Minnesota?" asked the manager.

The boy replied, "They're all just whores and hockey players up there."

"Really?," replied the manager, "My wife is from Minnesota!!"

The boy replied, "No kidding! What team did she play for?"

I read in a magazine where the kids of rockers got to wear their parents cast-off clothing - the daughter of Cobain/Love was wearing her dads pyjamas bottoms and cardigan - when i was younger i wore my dads shirts and ties - but would you - could you - or is it only cool if your parents an icon?

anyone notice this double standard?

michael richards made a few bad comments about blacks and he is bombarded with criticism and ridicule and will probably be considered a racist for the rest of his life. yet chris rock, dave chapelle, and the wayans brothers ENTIRE ACT is slamming and degrading whites and babbling on about how inferior whites are to blacks and poking fun at how whites walk, talk, dress, and act. rappers can even chant about murdering whites and raping white girls and they get rich and famous. and then there's spike lee who refused interviews from any white reporters and remember that zima commercial with two white guys dancing in a black club and one said "who let THEM in"? so in other words white racism is hideous and disgusting but black racism is applauded and rewarded. i always thought the civil rights movement was meant to end racism and make everyone equal. all it's done is reverse the roles. anyone see my point?

My testicles are gigantic, about the size of tennis balls... What's?

... What's awkward is when I get dressed up in slacks or jeans and everyone can see this massive bulge in my pants. I'm really conscious about it. When I meet people their eyes go straight to my groin. It's like nobody cares about the real internal me, or about my intelligence. Am I over-reacting? Should I just try to forget about it? I often wonder what people are really thinking... "He must be a hussler." And stuff like that. What should I do?

What theory do you think makes more sense? Evolution or Creationism?

Like, Love, Lust, or What????

Met him on dating site + we wrote many notes to each other. We have been going out 3 months and are sometimes intimate. He told me he liked me a lot! I told him I liked him more. Had a couple of arguments and he said we should not attempt to deepen our relationship. He still calls, emails, and booked a cruise for us. But he does seem to be cooling off. He also said he will feel badly about our intimacy if the relationship doesn't work out because he is the 1st + only man I've been with in a very long time.
I'm so confused. Does he see me as a friend only? or What??
