The obvious would be quartz because it is so versitile and easily programmable. If you find one of the ones they sell as "Lemurian Seed Crystals" they often have an incredible amount of energy. But it is hard to choose just one, especially when so many work best in groups as complimentary tools. And of course it depends on what the usage will be, wether it is for healing, magical uses, grounding, balancing or chakra therapy.
