A few things:

(1) As mentioned above, Blair is a member of the Labour Party.
(2) While the Labour Party and the US Democrats have simliar ideology just as the US Republican party and the British Conservative party do, it is a mistake to assume the two pairs see eye to eye on everything. British and US politics are not the same and have different traditions.
(3) Often, when the US or Britain see themselves in a crises, they have tended to stand together in the past 100 years. Churchill was a conservative while FDR was a Democrat but worked well together.
(4) Sometimes these things are a matter of personal chemistry between the leaders of the parties. Reagan and Thatcher got along great, but the first Bush and Thatcher did not. The first Bush also did not get along well with Majors and this caused some strain between the GOP and the Conservative party.

Blair is not a "Democrat" (and theres no "e" on the end of it)

Democrats are an American party. Blair is the British PM. Ergo he cannot be a Democrat .

He is leader of the LABOUR party in the UK.

As for why he is "depending" (well actually I'd say it was the other way around) on Bush well thats because Blair is a spineless loser who isn't fit to run this country. He has done nothing for the people of Britain and this country is in a hell of a mess as a result. Next question?

1. Tony Blair is in the Labour Party, not a member of the Liberal Democrat Party,

2. Democrat does not end with an "e",

3. President Bush leading PM Tony Blair is like the blind leading the blind. Either neither of them have any idea what's going on in Iraq, or they don't care. But if they stand together, they not (as) vunerable.

Since when has Blair been a democrat? I don't remember the country being asked if we wanted our troops sent to Iraq or Afganistan. The list as we all know goes on and on.
