Neither Dead or Alive in my case! I'd say it was only cool if your parents were an icon. My mom and I have an awesome relationship but I would never ever wear her cloths unless nessesary(ex. when the baby spit up all over my shirt at her house and she gave me a shirt to wear). As far as I'm conserned my mom has the worst taste in gauty clothing. I love her to bits but her fashionsense is sensless!

I did a play in high school and I raided my dad's clothes for a nerds outfit, there was lots to choose from and that is the only time. Past that no I would never wear my parents clothes.

My mum has a wicked style, sometimes I'll wear her clothes and sometimes she'll wear mine. It's no big deal that my mum isn't an icon in the famous sense, she's my icon!

I would not wear my parents clothes, but I would wear my mothers jewelery. ha ha.
My daughter, however, is always stealing my clothes. I go to find something...can't find it...there she is wearing it...it is now in her closet and she has claimed it as her own. She always eventually asks if she can keep it, but being an old softie, I always say yes. She mostly likes "stealing" my expensive jeans...and, I can't say "no" to her. She's too cute and sweet. Ha ha. I am a push over.

My dad kept some of his clothes from the 70s. So I have worn pieces of his wardrobe at times.

no way !!! my dad's clothes wouldn't fit, even if i wanted to wear then (which i don't !) and my mother's dress sense is a world apart form mine...... i guess i would wear her clothes in an emergency, but only if i were desperate. i guess it would probably be cool if u did have iconic parents, but u might also want to rebel against that image...... kids tend to want to be their own person, not just a clone of their parents......

Definitely. Fashion is so retro these days why fork out for it when you can chop the hell out of your parents clothes and make a real statement!

What if your dad was Timmy Mallett?
That would be tragic.
I'd be even more ashamed to wear the clothes if Rolf Harris was my dad.

My dad is WAY bigger than I am, and gets his clothes from the jumbo-man store. So, I could NEVER wear his clothes even if I wanted to, which I wouldn't.
I prefer Perry Ellis and Polo; he prefers whatever he can find that fits!
