Race specific benefits only cause more thoughts of racism. So what is keeping the United States from adopting policies that allow benefits for everyone regardless of race?

Lobby at whatever level you are able to...sad is the day when a minority, through political correctness becomes a majority! I am first generation Australian and was taught early, Australian first, then you can please yourself with race, religion etc.

The illusion of a color-blind society is just a pretend fantasy that ignorant or scared people make up in their mind. They are so disillusioned that they can't see that when one race controls most of the jobs, resources, and anything you might need to be successful in the world, their will be an unfair balance in the opportunity for success. Even when it come to sex, man have most of the control.. so their really is a need to boost advancement opportunities for woman and many different races... benefits do not provide hand outs, only opportunities to prove that everyone can succeed if giving to chance. For example, a CEO will feel more comfortable hiring people like him,,rather its race or sex... even if its natural, and subconscious.
So a company with mostly the same sex and race will cause the "thoughts of racism" , not the fact that people aren't too dumb to recognize the need for diversity-- Also diversity is more beneficiary for the workplace anyway.

It's the high salaries peopl econnectedw ith the scam make. As long as yu have people like jesse jackson getting rich, and people like orah screaming racist on her shows and as yu have origanizations like the NAACP strong arming companies and the government into paying out tax money to fund them there will always be racists.
